Here probably be the Best Cat Cafe in the world

Last week, I finally visited Go-young-ju-taek, or Micasacats  <- Instagram a cozy spot I stumbled upon on Instagram about a year ago. Back then, I didn’t feel the urge to go right away—it seemed a bit far, and the timing wasn’t right. But last week, I decided to take the plunge, and I’m so glad I did! Pro tip: you need to pre-register via Naver Reservation, though I heard from the staff that walk-ins are unofficially allowed at 4 PM (good to know, right?). Our little squad of three cat-loving guys—who sadly can’t have cats of our own (cue the tiny violin)—had the best time soaking in the vibe. It’s a must-visit for anyone who loves cats or just wants to explore something unique!

Go-young-ju-taek is nestled in Gimpo City, close to Ganghwa Island—a peaceful escape from the city buzz. If you're coming from Seoul Station, it takes about 97 minutes by public transportation, but if you prefer driving or taking a taxi, it’s a much quicker trip at just 50 minutes.

Here, you are required to pay 25,000 KRW (18 USD) as the admission fee and you will get a drink coupon to drink at the place or take away later. There are a few rules that we need to be aware of such as not touching a dog, if you are a man (there is one doggo who has trauma with a male customer), not opening the door and letting the cat go outside, Do not carry the drink without the carriage and Cats with muffler can be aggressive and protective sometimes so do not tease them much.

At this point, you might wonder why they don't sell any treats? how do the little fur balls come to play with me?  Ok, for readers who might not be so familiar with how normal cat cafe works - generally, the cat cafe will convince you to buy a decanted treat (1-20 g.) for you to lure the cats to come and you can touch them normally the cost around 5,000 KRW (5 USD) but here in GYJT (Go-young-ju-taek) they don't have that system in which we really enjoy.

The place has a 2-floor house with a yard outside (it's really a house but only for cats) there are many rooms but to be honest we are just stuck in one room with the big window it is hard to move when cats are on your body.  according to the owner, there are more than 50 cats and various types from American Shorthair, Korean Shorthair, Persian, and Siamese.

We spend 2 hours there, just playing with them and healing ourselves (not sure healing from what)
